Here at 91.3 The
Summit we realize the importance of strectching and reusing
resources. Being
a non-profit radio station, we've been doing it for years...but
now we recognize the global need to be more responsible
and give back what we've taken away. We have teamed up with
the
Akron Recycling Center and the S. Slesnick Company, in
Canton, and started a program in which you can help not only
give
back
to the
environment,
but also
support
91.3 The Summit at the same time.
This year we are using our rescources
to give you some of the "greenest" of Akron. Click
here to find out what 91.3 The Summit is doing to celebrate
Earth
Day
this
year!

LightsOut Ohio, formerly LightsOut Akron, is a community-wide
energy conservation awareness program where people turn
off non-essential lighting in schools, in the workplace
and at home.
Start with one hour of common sense energy
and cost savings. You’ll see how easy it is to
start taking many more steps to conserve energy, save
on energy costs
and protect the environment.
