The Summit is broadcasting in “HD!” What’s that?

“HD Radio,” simply, is the digital future of radio. Radio technology has not changed significantly in almost 50 years. Think about everything else electronic in your world, and, all the technological evolutions and revolutions you have witnessed in your lifetime. HD Radio is the first significant upgrade to radio broadcasting since FM stereo technology was developed in the early 1960’s.

We still own Northeast Ohio’s biggest and best Alt-rock musical archive, and, we’ve dusted it off and gave it a new home 24-7 on our HD-2 channel, “Summit Flashbacks.”

And, of course, we’ll bring it all to you with zero commercials. Don’t have an HD radio yet? You can also listen live online!

With an HD Radio, you’re able to switch back & forth between our regular 91.3 The Summit broadcasts on “HD-1” and 91.3 “Summit Flashbacks” on “HD-2” at the touch of a button.
